Audiology involves the prevention, identification, evaluation and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. An audiologist is a specialist, with a masters or doctorate level degree, trained in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with hearing loss and balance disorders. Audiologists evaluate and treat adults and children, including newborns. They can dispense and fit hearing aids as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program and can refer patients to physicians when the hearing or balance problem requires medical or surgical evaluation and treatment.
Our audiology team consists of Dr. Tia Castille, who has earned a doctorate degree in audiology with over 13 years of experience; Dr. Lindsay Johnson, who has earned her doctorate in 2009; Annie Viator, RHIA a bachelors level in Health Information Administration; and Meagan McClure, CCC-A. This team of audiologists is topped off with the advantage of having three medical doctors and a physician’s assistant on-site in case medical intervention is necessary.

Tinnitus
Tinnitus is a symptom associated with many forms of hearing loss. It can also be a symptom of other health problems. Roughly 25 million Americans have experienced tinnitus. Some cases are so severe that it interferes with a person's daily activities. People with severe cases of tinnitus may find it difficult to hear, work, or even sleep.
