An otolaryngologist is a physician with extensive
training in the medical and surgical management and treatment of
diseases and disorders of the ear, nose and throat. This specialty is
more commonly referred to as ENT.
Services include diagnosis and management of
medical issues related to the sinuses, larynx
(voice
box), oral cavity (mouth) and throat, as well
as structures of the neck and face. An otolaryngologist
can diagnose, treat, and manage specific disorders
of the ear, nose and throat as well as a variety
of primary care problems in both children and
adults.

Our
physician assistant, Todd Griffin, is available
for medical care when Drs. Chastant and Joseph
are in surgery or out of the office. He can provide
a broad range of healthcare services such as performing
physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses,
ordering and interpreting lab tests, writing prescriptions
and providing preventative healthcare counseling.
He also shares responsibilities for the care of
patients with both doctors. Working as a team,
they can provide the best medical care as quickly
as possible to their patients.
