Allergy Testing Lab Now In-House

As of August 2011 our new lab opened enabling us to do in-house allergy testing which is tested by blood. The advantage is that the turn around time for the results will be a few days versus 7-10 working days. Our initial allergy panel consist of dust mites, cat & dog dander, cockroach, several weeds, trees, grass and molds. Also included are the ten basic foods which are milk, wheat, corn, peanuts, eggs, barley, bakers yeast, soybean, shrimp and crab.

In addition to our initial panel there are many more foods we can test for along with a variety of animals, insects, latex, Penicillin G and V, Amoxicillin and a variety of nuts.

Do you have persistent dermatitis? We now offer testing for three different panels which include: Nickel Sulphate, Wool Alcohols, Neomycin sulfate, Potassium sulfate, Caine mix, Fragrance mix, Colophony, Paraben mix, Balsam of Peru, Ethylenediamine dihydro-chloride, Cobalt dichloride, Formaldehyde, Epoxy, Carba mix, Black rubber mix, Isothiazolinone, Quarternium, Mercaptobenzothiazole, Phenylenediamine, Mercapto mix, Thimerosal, Thiuram mix, Diazolidinyl, Imidazolidinyl, Budesonide, Tixocortol-21-Pivalate and Quinoline mix.

When results test positive we offer education to inform you where these items are found, what to avoid and what to substitute.
