About Bradley J. Chastant, MD, FACS

A native of Lafayette, Dr. Chastant received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisiana, and his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center-New Orleans. His residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery was completed in New Orleans at LSU Medical Center. His general surgical and otolaryngology training was completed through LSU Medical Centers. He completed his residency in 1988 and opened his practice in Lafayette that same year. Dr. Chastant specializes in the difficult nose and is on the active staff of many area hospitals. He currently serves as a Clinical Professor at LSU Health Sciences Center and is the Residency Program Director in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at University Medical Center located in Lafayette.

He currently serves on the Lafayette General Medical Center Board of Trustees as well as the Executive Board of Lafayette General Surgical Hospital. Dr. Chastant has served on many committees and as the Chief of Surgery for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Chastant’s practice is constructed of several specialized departments offering a wide range of services related to problems of the ear, nose, throat and procedures for facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Each department focuses on a specialized area of health care.
